Perhaps it's because women find the unobtainable highly attractive. Typically (and forgive me for mentioning this horrible stereotype, but...), women believe that gay males are somehow more sensitive than straight males. Women are usually looking for those that listen and care-- and sometimes, they find that sort of friend more in a homosexual male than a heterosexual one. Not so sure why the women you attract are hot though-- perhaps it's because the women you are exposed to are hot?
Hm. I actually happen to be attracted to gay males, yet... seeing as they're gay, that makes them officially "off the market"-- making them even more appealing just because... eh. circular logic. LOL,

And no, you aren't doing anything wrong. Women are probably attracted to your charm and charisma. And you're probably adorable too! (not to mention cleaner than most hetero males).
