I love the drive-in! Hang out, relax in the car, walk in the outdoors for food, and get some decent fresh air. I miss having them around.

We live really near a Drive in theatre. I use to go when the kids were little becuse they were FREE. But now all of my kids are big enough to be charged the regulat price and that would make it cost the same as an indorr theatre. Whe you go to the drive in and see a drak movie it is hard to make out details. with the price the way it is I would rather go indoors.
Were I live there are two drive in companys witha total of 6 screens

We used to go to the drive-in all the time. It was great as a kid. The whole family would pile into our station wagon and we would turn the back end of the car into a mini-lounge, lay back surrounded by munchies and enjoy the movie. When we were in our teens it was a great place to make out or hang with friends. I am really disappointed they have all closed down in this area and we will never be able to take our kids. Just another victim of technology and legalities.

Drive-in's rock but they are far too rare. Damn theatres and video put most of them out of business I think. Sucks because I'd rather sit in my car or a freinds car and watch a flick then rub elbows at the damn theatre. Obviously Drive-in's rule for dating over the theatre big time. I think everyones imagination can understand why, unless of course you like to put on public display's of sex.

My husband and I just took our 9 year old daughter for her first time last week. We saw Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and Cars. She totally loved it and it brought back memories for me. Now that you listen to the movies through your car radio, I wish I lived near the drive-in!!! I only wish you could see them when it is light out, it's rough on the kids to stay awake late enough for the 2nd of a double feature.

We love going to the drive in My husband has a pickup truck so of course we take our lawn chairs and set in the back like real rednecks lol

I used to like going to them when I was young. Now days they tore down most of the drive in movies. I used to be smuggled in there sometimes in the trunk.

Wow, you are dating yourself. Last I heard there were only 1,500 drive in's left in the entire United States.

we love going to the drive in we pop our own pop corn just like we did when were kids with mom and dad. But thank god they arent there with us...
