Time. That's really it. Having good friends and family to help distract you can help. Hobbies could, too, since you'd be focusing on something else.

It takes a minute to have a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone -- but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.
Trying to forget someone you loved is like trying to remember someone you never knew Love is ironic...isn't it? The person that you love the most is the person that hurt you the most. And you will continue loving that person for the rest of your life, whether you like it or not, even if they never come back into your life again. Because TRUE LOVE IS ETERNAL. No matter how many people come across your path, the one person you loved the most will always hold a special place in your heart
you never really stop loving someone. you just learn to try to live without them, as hard and as sad as it seems.
Life goes on and so should you, as hard as it seems. Your heart will never fully heal, but you`ll learn to live without her eventually, even though u still love her.
God bless

It takes time to get over someone. Even though u may necessarily never get over them, u do have to move on with ur life. U can mope around for a while, but u just gotta move on. Try to do things to occupy ur time. Try new things.

Find someone new or at least start dating and find the right gal this time. Life's to short to dwell over someone who if loved you from the start wouldn't have hurt you in the end.

Have you tried to eat a tub of icecream??? Try drowning your sorrows in music... Turn up your music and stair at the ceiling.... Think only of the music... not the heart break that has been inflicted upon you....

to move on. the best way to "get over it" is by stop seeing each other completely. and if possible have a dating life.
it's hard, but I'll be even harder if all there is to do is think about it, and the "what if's"
good luck

Unfortuntely, there is no real answer to it, it just takes time, go out and meet others to get your mind off of this person.

Time, only time can heal that hurt! Am having my own experience of that, only time can do it. No matter how hard you try, only time can do it. Be patient, you will get over it in due time.
