Hello, the 2005 movie, "Pride and Prejudice" is a good movie because of the story. The A&E Television Channel produced a 6 hour mini series of "Pride and Prejudice" ten years ago. The story by Jane Austen is worth reading. I hope you get a chance to read the book.

Keep in mind that I AM a guy here... I thought this movie was okay. It was well made and the acting was good. It was pretty long though, and got timresome around the late middle, but picked up by the end. Overall, I thought it was pretty good.

it is definetly not for everyone but i liked it. i go for that mushy romance stuff. it was nice to find out the ending of the story because i had been trying to read the book for a long time but it got so freaking boring in the middle that i eventully put it down.

I love Kiera Knightly movies and I felt that this one was good,if you like classic British novel films. She is always good and this was no exception. Excellently portrayed!

My mother saw it and loved it. And she's not usually a Jane Austen fan.
I might give it a try.

okay- BOTH
The acting was "fresh and young" more age appropriate for the piece as it was written, not period correct or starchy British enough for my liking.

Enjoy!
