From medical exams, I have a healthy sperm count, while she is still just 36 years old. Other obvious signs are sperm ooozing out of her vagina as she stands up from bed. I'm posting this question to the general public to get some insights or "shedding some light" on my ignorance.

Why would you think that she had an IUD? Do you think she secretly doesn't want a baby?
If she did have one, there is no way that you would know, unless you can feel the "strings" protruding from her cervix. This is what they grasp to remove the device.

If she doesn't want kids, then it isn't as though you can force her to have them. Suck it up and deal, mate.

Many IUDs have strings so that their positioning can be periodically checked. Next time you finger her, try feeling around for it.

However, there is a new product called Essure that is used to permanently block the fallopian tubes with nickle coils. They are absolutely undetectable without serious medical equipment and can be placed without surgery of any kind. No scars, no down time, nothing.

Sperm (actually seminal fluid and her own secretions) oozes out of every woman. If your wife has never had children before, it is unlikely that she has an IUD. It is recommended for women who have already had at least one child.

If you can't ask your wife about birth control, then you two have some major communication issues.

I don't think there is a way to know just by looking at her. However, there are a lot of different reasons for infertility. If you're concerned, you should talk to her about seeking professional medical opinions.

You would know if she was wearing an IUD.

Has she had a fertility test?

If she says she wants to be pregnant, you are jumping to conclusions when you think something like this. Is your first response not to trust her?

That aint right. :)

Ask her.
