Our government disgusts us too.
1. We have a constitution that protects our freedom of speech so we can complain about said government any time we want to and not fear reprisal. At least at this time. That alone is enough to make us great. Otherwise, our media is controlled by massive corporations who tell us only what we want to hear, not the truth. Most journalists have had lobotomies and spout basic stupidities with very little truth to them (Bill O'Reilly) and shove their opionions down our throat.

2. The second thing is that we have hope, that even though the US was created by a bunch of Englishmen on a power trip, there is still the opportunity for growth and maybe we will get off of our tired ***** and do something about it. It starts with one person changing one idea. And I at least have my eyes open, and I would still rather be here than there.

3. We have freedom of religion, while we all dont get along, we can still worship any way that we want to, and with that comes the hope that people will find their spirituality...spiritual people do not fly airliners into buildings, nor do they join the CIA.

Your approach feeds many looking for reason to do you you harm. Try being more open minded. Check out JFK and the Peace Core, rather than Bush and the War Core. Who developed technology to allow you to post your message. A society with more John F Kennedy, than Bushes. Look at the whole picture and not snapshot of one Israel puppets.

2) elvis
3) '56 Ford convertibles

Our people are great although admittedly our government needs work. But a country that can come up with the above should be able to get things cleaned up sooner or later!!

Our government is not our country.

I agree, my government disgusts me right now too.

Our country is great because we have had great people in it.

Our government is committing treason against our country every day now.

The only time I expect anyone outside the U.S. to respect our country is when the people of the U.S. Get off their asses and stop the government from destroying liberty and freedom in the name of safety.

You want to move here and become an American, don't you?
It's the greatest country in the world. Don't pay any attention to the liberals that hate Bush. They're not Real Americans.

If you like were you are from why worry about it. If you do not like the oppression or whatever in the country where you live, immigrate to the USA, you will like it then. Citizens like the US, it is the best country in the world in terms of freedom. As a citizen I really do not care if you like it or not.

Would suggest you go after your own government and make them stop taking money from the USA. If it is really that disgusting.

1st reason:
Freedom of speech is not free someone payed dearly with their life to make possible for you to propose your question.

2nd.
You probably didn't have to extend your hand out this morning for change to feed yourself so that you could get on your own personal computer or one at the library to raise your questions as you did.

3rd
And more importantly repsect is earned and not given and it all starts not only from the individual but from the home as well.

My question to you: Do you have a home? Welcome to AMERICA.
