your behavior and peace are good signs really rather it be fate or destiny dont try to know just try living each moment proper and you will be on the proper path!!

This is a good question. I guess one really can't know, but if you are happy and at peace with yourself and your decisions then one would have to speculate that one is going in the right direction.

actually we will never know.
we just make the best decision at that time and hope for the best.
The right direction depends on the direction that you are going.
maybe it's not right for others but it's right for you.
