needs rebuilt, do they even make rebuild kits for this engine? it would be a crazy torque monster great for drag racing if i got it. what do you think?

100.00 would be good for a 472 cad and they do make rebuild kits for em

No good would come from it. To heavy to slow poor flowing cyl heads. Now 427 Chev get it or 440 Chrysler snap it up. Old Cadillac motor with out the car it gos in equals boat dock anchor

That would be a great buy. And yes, they do still make rebuild kits for this engine.

You get what you pay for. Drag engines need high power not necessarily torque.

it would make a great ship anchor. cubic inches is not the only thing for HP
rebuild parts are available and it would be a good engine in a cad that it would bolt into. and make a good cruiser.

You probably aren't going to find any performance pieces to make it competitive. Take that into consideration.
