The only way 2 get it is either ask her 4 it or you gotta contact yahoo & tell them the situation they might give it 2 U considering her age. The 6 letters could be a name & the numbers might be her B-Day..Good Luck

1. Stop speaking ebonics! Either speak proper english or don't write on here. I mean come on, you put a statement, not a question.

2. Don't invade your daughter's privacy. Of course you'll say you're doing it for her safety, but if you're that concerned, go to the cookies page to see what sites she's been viewing, then talk to her if you find an objectional one. If she's deleted the cookies, then ask her why.

What the heck is a 12 year old doing with her own e-mail address and Yahoo account. I hope you have the sense to have her access limited to KIDS ONLY sites.

I hope you have monitoring software so you can double check and make sure she is visiting only kid suitable sites.

The internet is a pretty wild and dangerous place for young kids!

She should be involved in real world friendships and experiences, not sitting in front of a computer!

I don't think that is right for you to do something like that. If you do it and your daughter finds out you are setting a sad and bad example.. It would be best for you to sit down and talk with her about being responsible on the internet. You need to let her know that you trust her to do the right things.

If you have a dog, try his/her name. try her birthdate. For example if she was born on January first of 1990, youd try 010190. Date, month year. If she has a crush on someone is school, try that. If this doesnt work, youre going to have to ask her. Ive already given you the top three password names.

Bull. You are the child's parent. It is your responsibility to know what is going on with your daughter.
Order her to give it to you or she won't be allowed to use the computer.
I don't think it's a good idea to do it secretly though.
It sends the wrong message.
Tell her you need to see whats going on for yourself for her own safety.
Then, if it turns out that you feel she can handle it after a few months, tell her you will stop. until then, you need to monitor her online activities.

i dont think you should be accessing her email without her permission, unless you have reason to think she is getting into some kind of trouble. I would ask her for it and tell her that you wont invade her privacy but you want to know it because you may need it someday.

You can't get her password unless she gives it to you... if she doesn't give it up turn the comp off and send her to her room for 6 years until she can make her own unsupervised choices

She's 12. You're the parent. Sit down and talk to her about the dangers out there. Better paranoid than sorry.
