This story is crazier than any movie I've ever seen. Do you believe John Karr's confession?

I still think the parents did the crime or was in on it somehow.
This thing stinks all the way around.
I do not think its all out yet, there has to be more involved.

I don't know the story well but I think he's confessing to it because he has been detained in Thailand on serious disgusting offenses and doesn't want to spend the rest of his life in a Thailand jail. If he hadn't been caught in Thailand he wouldn't have admitted anything ever probably.

I heard him say "it was an accident" on the radio this morning. I just can't get over how calmly he says what his intentions were - but her DEATH was an accident. I cry for that poor little girl. She is probably thankful for not living through that experience. He is a monster. She is at peace now.

It is mesmerizing. This whole tragic thing. Im not sure the "john Karr" episode is convincing. I havent yet heard "how" he got into contact with the little girl. ARe we to assume he crawled thru a window? Was he a friend of the family? or a simple stalker?

What I cannot believe how many thousands of people disappear from cruises, in Arruba, in Iraq, A beautiful African American girl was kidnapped and murdered and no one is covering the story but Nancy Grace . I think JonBenet was a beautiful little girl, and her murder was horrific, but she is not the only person in the history of this country that died an awful death. The story about the guy in Thailand is tying up all the National news, even replacing the terrorists stories, it is unbelievable to me how this is being covered, as if it at the weight of another tsunami

I heard Karr was writing a book and found friends and family close to the case to find out only undisclosed things.
His wife says he was in Alabama on12/24/96.
This is just more re-living this tragedy by the victim's family.
It just won't go away. I'm not so sure he did it yet. Let's wait and see the DNA report.

I truly doubt that anything will come of John Karrs confession if you have seen him on TV he is setting himself up to plead insanity but my feeling is he is just doing the whole thing to get out of jail overseas

Yeah that's make more sense then blaming the family for her death.
i was young when this happened but later i saw the movie and i thought "that's some weird sh*t" it doesn't make sense but John Karr looks really psycho plus he was living in the area it's not a coincidence.
I think the cops hadn't done their homework 10 years ago it was easier to blame her family i don't think they ever considered any one else but the family

No, I do not believe the confession. You are right, it is crazier than any movie I've seen. I think this guy has some kind of weird fantasy going on.

i think because Jon Karr lived in the area when it happened, he took advantage of this and to get his fame he "confessed" and it is all a huge sick lie and the murder is still out there

yeah, i think Karr is guilty.....why would he confess to the crime...he's got nothing to gain but lying. it took long enough to catch the SOB. feel bad for the parents because they were considered suspects for a long time. too bad the JonBenet's mom isn't around to see that they finally caught the guy.

It's odd situation, that's for sure.

His ex-wife said that she was with him in Alabama when it happened! Is he maybe taking the fall? Why would anyone do that though?

I would love to know how he called it an accident though. How do you accidentally strangle and beat someone?!?!!

Sick thing is, he has three kids of his own. How could a parent do this to another child? Not to mention he has been charged with child molestation too! SICK SICK SICK!

Get some popcorn ready, this one is gonna be good!
