If you pass the LSAT, it doesn't matter what you major in, although it is recommended that you have a firm grasp on American History, government, and Political Science. However, most important is your ability to think logically and critically. You must also be a very strong writer/reader.

You can get into law school majoring in art history, so you could definitely get in with a minor in pre-law. Like the other poster said, what matters most is your LSAT score, followed by your GPA (which is considered along with your majour), and then other things including your references, experience, and essays.

Here in Louisiana, you can. I had a Poitical Science degree with a minor in pol. sci. and I just had to pass the Law School Admissions Test and I was in! Good luck!!!
