I work at one-I think it's on the low-end of snobbery-but at times, I still see that kind of uppity-I'm-better-than-anyone-else mentality. It makes me sick. Especially when they are just trying to be important-have to pay to be somebody.

well, dear - it's a shame to move on when you've got them all figured out. Be the phony they expect - be an actress! Take their tips and be oh, so sweet while you picture yourself slopping the filthy hogs. Finally, with the wisdom you gain, you'll find a place for yourself where your past experience will help you succeed and feel good about it.

Hopefully the snobs will be trying to show others at the club how uppity they think that they are and how much money they have and leave you one heck of a good tip. Some people just suck. I really don't think that it matters if they have money or not. They think that it is their God-given right to look down on others. Sickening!

Snobs...they are everywhere, much like manure on a ranch. No sense working yourself into a tizzy when you're around them; they aren't worth your time. Just do your job, preferably with a smile, and you'll find that not all of the country club set is the same.

The point to clubs - all clubs - is to select members - thus the basis for all clubs - no matter how open their acceptance guidelines is to exclude certain people. However, I'll agree with you looking down your nose at people isn't the way to live your life, unfortunately, this is what some people get off on.

Yeah i know i went on this cruise last week and it was like a floating country club. All it was was golf and rich people. It made me mad. I went to the gold pro shop and they all just glared at me like i didnt belong. Everyone on the ship was so stuck up.

You know what?

Don't let that kind of mentality come from you, yourself. Change YOUR attitude towards those people ----and I PROMISE, you will see they are just as nice as YOU will let them be. Of course, there ARE snobs, but they are only fooling themselves, if they think they are better than anyone else.

GO FOR IT, GIRL! Smile your butt off!!
