I been with a grl for 6 years. She claims that I know exactly what's in her mind, rather know her better then she knows herslf. Even then she lies to me all the time? Why grls lie?People Tell me! Please...

(just a woman and this is just an opinion so please don't take offense)
No one is Perfect, so everyone, yes, even you and I, lie on occasion. But to deliberately keep lying and hurting someone by omitting details that they have every right to share in as your partner is very selfish. Why do some persons insists on acting selfishly? Because they either have deep inner issues that need to work on and should not be in a serious relationship unless they want to get those issues worked out with counseling or even therapy, because they don't care about anyone but themselves-SELFISH, or because they are confused and don't communicate their own needs in the relationship well and use lying as a way to cover up they need to be open and honest so they don't have to be vulnerable and share their true selves.

Just because your girlfriend of 6 years lied to you doesn't mean all women lie. According to your post your girlfriend lies to you "all of the time". Why are you still with her? This should tell you that she cannot be trusted. Leave your lying girlfriend of 6 years and find someone that will respect you and be honest with you. Being with a liar will only cause you a lot of headache and drama.

Not all women lie.:) I know a good many of men that lie, they'll cover up one lie with another lie. Sorry you're being lied to though, I don't know what some women and men get out of lying, only makes things worse...

Not ALL women lie. I never lie to my fiance and I never lied to my ex husband (tho he will tell you I did when he is the one that was lying, cheating, using and abusing me and drugs, etc). Please DON'T generalize all women into the same category as we are NOT all the same.
As for your girlfriend, when you catch her in a lie and you have proof that she has lied, then give her the proof and see what she does. If she insists on continually lying, then I would say that she isn't into respecting herself or anyone else and that you should move on.

Just because your in a bad relationship and your girlfriend feels the need to lie to you that doesn't mean that all women lie. Maybe your girlfriend lies to you because you can't handle the truth and give her no other choice. I'm sure it's not all just her. You can't give us women a lable like that it's not fair.
