The movie isn't so bad if you go to a matinee. But the consessions is what gets you! That's why I always sneak in my favorite beverage and candy. Sneaky Sneaky

Yes it's quite expensive for $10. And the feeling is worse if it turns out to be a bad movie (which happens more often than not). And don't get me started with the price of snacks.

Now, I just go to see movies that are really worth watching, or have had received good ratings from dependable movie critics.

heck yeah! my aunt told me when she was young back in the 60s, going 2 the movies was like less than a dollar i think and now adays it's 7 to 9 dollars a ticket!! i still go cuz i love going 2 the movies but sometimes i buy popcorn and soda and sometimes i don't.

I agree. A ticket costs $10 just for a movie! It's ridiculous. I would rather wait until it comes out to DVD and rent it at Blockbuster for just $3.99.

heck yeah! It costs me almost $11 dollars for a ticket and med pop (Matinee prices) for every movie I see. And I go almost every weekend, and sometimes twice!

Yes, here we have free movies on certain days...but u still end up paying 10.00 on pop and popcorn!
