I was hooked on that magazine. It was my enitre lifestyle on full color glossy paper! I couldn't quite make the fashions work, but my friend Denise could. *TEN POINTS* to the best answer w/ the name of SASSY'S editor-in-cheif!

Jane Pratt

She was just 25 years old when the first issue of Sassy was released in Feb. 1988.

Jane Pratt ROCKS! I loved it, it was the only girl's mag with any sort of sense of humor that addressed the possiblity that maybe not EVERY girl was obsessed with Cory Haim (or whoever was hot in the 90's, I don't even remember -- Will Smith maybe?). Yeah it did morph into Jane magazine, which is pretty good but just not the same. It doesn't have that same "underground" feel like Sassy did.
