If you're on your period, that could be the reason. It's common to have tender, sore breasts during that time.
Otherwise, maybe call you doctor's office, tell them your situation and see if they think you should go in sooner...that is, if they can schedule you in sooner...we all know how doctors' offices are!
Good luck.

There is a remote possibility of a cancer know as IBC (inflammatory breast cancer). It doesn't cause lumps I believe. I'm sure it is unlikely you have it, but every time I see this question, I want to make sure women ask their doctor's about it, because in a poll of physicians most did not recognize the conditions.

Call the office and tell them. In any case, it's always better to be safe than sorry, and this does not sound normal. It could be any number of things, and needs to be looked at.

If you are close to your period it could be a normal thing. However you may want to move your Dr.'s appointment up for your own piece of mind.

make an appointment as soon as you can. there is no time for procrastination when you have the possibility of having a deadly cancer on your hands. I'd check that out a.s.a.p.

If you drink a lot of caffine, try to quit drinking it for a while and see how that goes, but if you don't drink a lot of caffine i would try to get in and see the doc. sooner
