Sad to admit it but I'm still a virgin. From what I've heard the first time with him for you is going to suck. but if you go easy with him and after a while it will get better. by the way teach him what works for you and guide him DURING THE SEX! Don't not say anything and act like it was good when it wasn't and get on the phone with your girlfriends and trash the guy for his lack of knowledge in this area. Everyone moves at their own pace so give him time to catch up with you.

I think you can get more information and ask around, be more prepared for the first time.
When the moment comes, and you gentlely tell him exactly how it works, and guide him slowly but sensually.
For the condom, you could sit on him, open it in front of his face, and put it on for him, at the same time jerk him a little. Put some water-based lube like KY gel if you scare it might tear.
That would turn me on if my gf surprised me, and guide me during my first time.
After all, man is always a big boy when it comes to sex.
