...i'm curious as to why you would spend your points to ask this question...if he made you so miserable, why are you so worried about it? i'm sure that if you can get past the initial hurt with your ex, you'll see that if he really really really did and does love you, he'll want you to be happy, whether it's with him or with someone else. that's true love. if he just makes you feel like crap, then i say good riddance to bad rubbish and move along.

First loves...that’s exactly what they are...those are the ones that introduced you to everything, made you love them, loved you back, and also broke your heart. But no matter how hurt you are, you’ll always love them. Always...they’ll stay with you forever. And not only will you not notice it, but deep down you will compare every other guy to him. And none of them will live up...because he was your first love. Then after months of letting go...when you finally think you are okay with letting him go, you'll hear "your" song...or see a movie...or something that reminds you of how much he meant to you and how much you really loved him and realize you’re not completely over him and never will be.

Just give it time. It's ok to think about your ex as long as you know where your heart is at. I just learned that lesson myself just a couple days ago. If you love your new boyfriend as much as you say then you will let go of your ex before you even realize that you was stuck on him. Trust me. Love makes you smile, letting go gives you relief, and loving like its your first time makes you complete.

There is no way that I know of, sorry.
Time eventually takes a hand and helps the memory to fade.
I have been with my man for six months, but I still think about my most recent two exes, even though one of them tried to kill me.

I guess that time will solve this. Try to focus on the one you're in love with now. If you are as in love with your current boyfriend as you say you are, your ex should fade away with time.

I think you just need to think how miserable this guy made you even though he was a first love.
Why would you want to think and be with someone who makes you miserable when you have someone right in front of you that makes you happy.

In time you will grow closer to your now boy friend and the other will slowly fade out. Don't worry to much and make sure your new boyfriend knows how much you love him.

you have to be real with yourself and with your ex. who do you really want. you cant hold this man in bondage because of how you feel.he will be alright. think about the things that made you not want to be with him and move on. i understand you have a compasssionate heart and hate to hurt a person, but you have to live your life. and let him live his. he willl have to heal at his own time. and his own
