I overall hate hand held systems? What type of budget do you have. I spend over $150 a week on games and stuff like that. So I would probably buy 2-5 games if I really liked the system and owned it.

I don't know much about D.S I'm just saying perhaps you could get two.

Nobody should ever own a handheld game player without owning Tetris. The Tetris DS game is awesome, includes wifi capabilities so you can play people whenever all over the world.

Mario Kart DS and Super Mario bros are really good too.

Depends on what you like if you like virtual life games then get Nintendogs. If you like racing games go for Mario Kart. If you like platformers go for New Super Mario Bros. If you like first person shooters then get Metroid Prime Hunters. If you like puzzle games go for Tetris DS. There are other games in these categories, but when you find a genre you like you should probably go for the cheapest game in that category.

Either buy
1. Nintendogs
2. New Super Mario Bros.
or
3. Wario Ware: Touched!
All good games.

well.if you feal like forking out 50 bucks on ebay, you could get trauma center, wich is an awesome game, although very hard.they stopped making it,but i heard they recently started producing them again.
trace memory was also a good game although rather short.it's good if you like that sort of thing(mystery, puzzle).
castlevania is deffinitley one of my favorite games for the DS,very nostalgic,if you ever plyed the older games.
animal crossing:wild world is fun,
It's also cool,if you know anyone else with AC because you can go on wifi and such.
deep labyrinth just came out on the 15th,it's a 1st person dungeon crawler.I don't have it yet,but i'm going to buy it.
hope i've helped.
later.

My sister recently bought a DS, and she got a game called "Brain Age". I know, it sounds super geeky, but it gets super addicting. If you like the game sudoku, you'll really like "Brain Age". With that game, you can test your brain to see how old it is and whatnot, as well as play sudoku. It's pretty fun.
