sounds crazy but do you have a pet at home? Typically a pet, will start acting funny. Cats start getting nuts, and dogs (especially females for some reason) will start being overly protective of you, and even sniffing your abdomen repeatedly. The further along you get the more they will be trying to lay on your belly and just be totally irritating.
Then of course there's the obvious that your period doesnt' show up.

well, u don't have to wait 9 months anyway. within 3 weeks u may notice that ur boobs sore and become bigger, u have period-like cramps in ur abdomen and lower back, sometimes feel sick, sleepy all the time; u may also faint or vomit without an obvious reason. then, of course, ur periods r missing or u have very light spotting instead. some cravings appear like u r going to die without a particular food.
there r plenty of symptoms and further on they become more and more evident.

After you miss your first period, you can get tested. Just go to Dollar Tree, spend a buck and get a test! They usually will tell you after your first period is missing. If you are having your periods still, and think you are pregnant,,just test...for a buck it will save you alot of worry. Some girls have a period or a few actually and are indeed still pregnant. In fact, spend two bucks and buy two,one for now,and one for a week from now.

Why not just go to the doc? What is wrong with you that you don't want to take a test. By the way when you miss your period and start getting symptoms you'll know not nine months.

You will know well before 9 months!
Why don't you want to take a test? If not a home kit then go to a testing clinic. Better to know for sure.

For most women, it don't take nine months to find out. If you don't know by nine months that you are pregnant, something is not quite right.
The missing of the "period" should be a big flag or as you put it a "technique". :D

If you are far enough along after you have sex fell right above your pelvic, and if you fill some about the size of a baseball you are most likely pregnant.

It doesn't take 9 months to start looking or feeling pregnant! My pants stopped fitting around week 13. But if you think you are pregnant, please see a doctor and start prenatal care right away.

It only takes 4-5 months for your belly to pop out and for you to feel the baby move.
