There are a few teams that have the front run right now...Denver, Indianapolis, Carolina, Cincinati, Dallas, Washington, Seattle, and New York Giants all seem to be the picks everyone is making....anyone with brains anyway...yes that counts out Steeler fans for apparently not having brains and thinking Pittsburgh has a shot at repeating.

Denver has problems are running back right now...but they'll settle it and get going strong with their powerful receiving group and solid defensive unit. Plummer isn't that bad of a qb like some people say he is...especially with Rod Smith and Javon Walker now..not a problem.

Indy...I don't expect to win the big game...but can they get there?...hell yeah they can. Would I put my money on it? Hell no I wouldn't.

Carolina is the powerhouse team in the NFC right now with an all-star receiver in Steve Smith, a hell of a weapon at #2 in Johnson to support run game and lessen coverage. And two fantastic young running backs (Williams and Foster) around a guy that knows how to win the important games given the opportunity (Delhomme)....Goes without saying that their defense is solid.

Cincinati...Palmer is looking good again....Chad Johnson has a gold mohawk....and they have more people in court than at training camp....But they look good still...

Dallas....is not very deep. A few key injuries and this team is out of the playoffs indefinately....but healthy, they can dominate now. Bledsoe has what it takes to get it to T.O. as much as he can..and Julius Jones ain't too bad either.

Washington.....RECEIVING GROUP!!!! enough said. Their defense ain't too shabby still..losing Arrington had to suck...but they'll be alright for the playoffs..This is Brunell's good year for those of you that play fantasy...take him as a backup.

Seattle is good on defense still...and smart...which I can't say for the Bears who let Smith get like 26 catches for nearly 400 yards in two games against them...learning from mistakes is HUGE. Offense is still very solid with some key additions and Alexander returning.

New York has a good offense going still...regardless of Carolina pitching them a 23-0 playoff game..ouch. But taking Arrington from Washington was pretty big for them...maybe they can run deeper into the playoffs now...unless Eli goes through that same badluck that Peyton has had.

Sleepers: Arizona .... Chicago .... Jacksonville .... Kansas City .... Tampa

(Pittsburgh..if they do even make the playoffs...wont get as far this time..I wont even pick them for a wild card though.)

Seahawks. They have improved their secondary which was their biggest weakness and they also improved their pash rushing ability. Their offense, which led the leauge in points scored, touchdowns, and red zone efficiency, returns intact plus WR Nate Burelson, who can only help.

Da Bears (with Brian Griese)

Although I will admit Jay Cutler is gonna be awesome (espcially since he's from Vandy)
