CALM. What images come to mind when you think of that word?

Lots of things......God's love and forgiveness, a smooth mirrored lake, the sounds of nature in the forest, the stars at night, a purring kitten, Yanni's music, a bubblebath, chamomile tea, a mother softly stroking the cheek of her child, the sound of your loved one's heart beating as you lay your head on their chest, the silence of a snowfall, the way you feel after you've done something good for someone else, the smell of homemade bread...... there's so many wonderful calming things, too bad most of us get so caught up in the fast pace of daily life that we sometimes forget to take time to be calm.

I think of a close-up view of ocean waves coming up on the sand and listening to it as it rides the sand and pebbles back and forth !
