Electronic pest control? Safe for rabbits??

Question

I would like to get an electronic pest control device, but certain devices have warnings that the frequency pitch they use is harmful to pets such as gerbils, hamsters, and snakes.

I want to know if anyone who has a rabbit has purchased one of these devices. If so, what brand/style would you suggest. If not, does anyone know which brand/style would be safe for rabbits?

Thank you for the feedback so far. I live in an apartment so I can't just call pest control; however, I'm still looking into all of my different options, and the electronic pest control device is just one of them. I appreciate your responses and am open to other pest control suggestions that are safe to use with pets in the house!

Yes, the frequency may do harm to the rabbits ears and these devices do not work! I REPEAT!!! They are a waste of money, a complete rip off!!! If these things worked, do you really think pest control companies would be in business, or manufactures of raid and decon would be billionaires?? Think about it. They are however great nesting areas for cockroaches and great for mice to play on.

I can't answer the original question, but I have found the electronic repellers quite effective for mice. Our summerhouse still has an occasional visit from a hungry mouse, but before the repellers we were catching them every day, and now we catch maybe two a month in our traps. Maybe the TV program the first answerer cited used an ineffective product. We have a mixture of brands all over the house, so I can't say which is doing the job.

My local news station did a story on those, and they don't work. They took it to a petstore and turned it on and most of the animals slept through it. Rodents, snakes and insects (they had those hissing cockroaches, scorpions and centipedes) ignored the sound and were not effected at all.
Reconsider buying the products.
