I'm downloading something but it don't open so i can run?

When you download something and it does not pop up so you can run the file what do you do

Your question is somewhat unclear: Do you mean the window doesn't open so you can download, or the download window closes before you can tell it to run the file? I'll answer both just in case.

If the download window doesn't pop up:
Usually this happens to me when I have all the pop-ups blocked on my browser. This is easily fixed by setting the blocking to medium. It's also possible your anti-spyware program is blocking the pop-ups.
If this is not the case, check to see if your firewall is set to allow downloads.

If the download window doesn't pop up at the end so you can run the file:
While the file is downloading, make sure to uncheck the box saying, "Close this box when download is completed"(It says something like that, my memory is fuzzy).

Next time you download something check the box in the bottom corner of the download window...I can't remember what it says but either uncheck it or check it and it will let the box stay on your window after it is done downloading.

Do you remember where you saved the file too?

If you don't remember where you saved it. Do a search of your computer to find out where it is and then run it

When you specify the file name for the download, look to see where on your hard drive it is placing your new file.

Better yet, change where it is downloading it to to your desktop so that you don't have to go hunting around your hard drive for the file.

search the actual file you just downloaded something's gotta pop up then try and click it. Or uninstall it and download it again.
