hey guys i need help installing an auto meter 5'' tach in my 1990 chevy silverado can any one help me out

I dont know where the green wire goes.

to the negative side of the coil. or look at a wiring schematic for the dash and you can find the factory tach wire

The green wire goes to the HEI distributor cap.
