When I die I will be cremated my ashes will be throw en from a plane and into the wind I will go, It is not important for me to be remembered because my life will have ended in a physical world, my family and Friends will morn the loss, and as time goes by the memory dwindles, my hope will be just like all others that there truly will be a better place, all that has been prophesied that I have disbelieved questioned and doubted in my life be true.

Don't care about being remembered. What will it do for you after you die?

Make a difference now. Improve the quality of someone's life now. It doesn't have to cost a dime. Give encouragement. Smile. Be optimistic. Set a good example. Be a hero.

Many people we've had contact with will remember us--some will have good memories and others may have bad. Only people we've known will remember us and some will always have us in their hearts.

Famous people will remembered for decades by those they've never met; while average people will only be remembered until the youngest person whom they've known dies.

I"m not really too worried about it...I know at least a few people will remember me--and those are the people who I've touched them in some way and connected with in some way--such as my boyfriend, parents, friends, etc...and not to mention I'll be dead so I'm sure I won't be too concerned about it.

If you have to do anything to make them remember you, then you aren't worth remembering. The only immortality we can be sure of is the effect we have on the lives of those we meet. Doing something purposefully to be remembered is selfishness - would that be something worth being remembered for?

Don't worry about death - just live.

I will not make any such effort.
I live my life to help the living people around me and make every effort to become a better person. I have no idea what will happen to me when I die (and anyone who tries to tell me is welcome to swig a tall, steaming mug of ayahuasca tea), but I can state that whatever it is will end my ability to affect people and things in this world. I can hope that it will also end my desire to do so.
The people who need to remember me will do so. The people who must research my life are welcome to whatever data they can find. The people who wish to forget me probably have excellent reasons.

Treat them like you would like to be treated. Be nice, helpful, caring, loving, etc. Make lots of friends. But remember one person will always love you when you die.

I guess I am hoping that the life I shared with the special people in my life will be enough so I don't have to do something" special" to make people remember me.
