Yes, it's strange that the guy admitted it, then his ex-wife came up with a supposed alibi for him....I saw a video this afternoon on MSNBC where Patsy Ramsey's sister said that they guy's DNA matched that of the DNA from JonBenet's underwear....and that they were also going to get a handwriting sample from him to see if it was his writing on the "ransom letter"...it would be awesome to just be able to say he did it, but here in the US we try to say innocent until proven guilty. I'd say that this guy definitely has all the eggs in his basket. I believe the protein match should be enough to put him away for life. I'm not sick of this case, but this case is just sick.

As entertainment this case is probably past its best - but then why do Americans need to play child murder cases for laughs anyway?
As a criminal justice issue it is probably more important to get the real murderer than just come up with a solution which suits your private leisure interests.

yeah of course this has been a long case, but this murder was horrible just as other murders of children have been... whoever it is, it's better found later than never... an innocent man even just trying to seek attention shouldn't be convicted though, but should be sent for mental care

The obsession with this case is soooo tired. I agree with you. It's time to move on America.

If we do, and the man is innocent, then the case will be closed, the real killer will get away, and, as if he hasn't already, he will be free to molest/kill other children.

That would be wrong if he is truly innocent.

It comes across as if he is a desperate troubled soul who had nothing to do with it. Unless there is DNA or solid circumstantial evidence, which it looks like there won't be, he won't be convicted.

I think that the case has been now officially signed sealed and delivered into the solved bin.
