Also, has anyone been to the bar/restaurant "Brick"? If so, how is it? Any good bars in the area that arent too expensive? :)

Sutter street is quite long... you should probably visit www.maps.google.com and enter a more specific search there. Such as "restaurants near XXX Sutter Street" and include the address of where you will be staying.

Or go to: http://sanfrancisco.citysearch.com/find/section/sanfrancisco/restaurants.html

and do a search by cuisine type and location (like Union Square or the Civic Center areas). This site is great for finding good restaurants.

Citizen Cake has excellent desserts. Look for brick on citysearch.com

Hundreds of good restaurants in SF....that's one thing it's famous for. You will find them all over and try them all.
