Time usually flies by when I'm posting on Yahoo answers or being occupied with some other mindless activity. As a kid, it was also mindless activities that made time go by fast. And with the advent of the Internet, engaging in such things has become easier.

When I was a kid, when I'm playing at the playground as I don't get to go out as often. Both my parents were working and I live in an apartment. I was not allowed to go out without their permission.

Now, when I'm out with my friends. My husband has double standards and is not pleased each time I go out and he's alone at home. But it's fine vice versa.

Not really that different. Both activities is because I do not get to do them so often.

High School is going by so fast. Last year seemed that I was only there the first and last day. It went that fast. When I was younger, nothing went by fast. That was because I was a little kid though.

For me it is surfing the internet.

When I was a teenager (before the internet was around) it was watching MTV.
When I was a little kid it was hanging out in the woods.

Things have changed considerably because I have less "extra time" to fly by as an adult.

Everything important. Like talking to a person you haven't seen in a very long time and you are trying to catch up with one another's life events... and you couldn't share enough when suddenly, it's time to part again. Or playing a game you most enjoy and suddenly, it's dark and time to go home.

Aging.. It always seems as one gets older, the time passes more swiftly. I have long days of activity but, the months seem to fade away rapidly.

Going on vacation or doing something I want to do-there never seems to be enough time in the day! When I was a child it was drawing.

Yahoo! Answers. Being with friends. Anything fun. Same things when I was young, only Yahoo! Answers hadn't been invented.
