Getting your budget and finances securely established is an awesome answer, because believe me, no matter what your financial situation is now, money or lack of, becomes an enormous strain on a relationship and can sink the fun and happy marriage you start out with. Get it together from the beginning and you will be able to relax alot more and just enjoy each other and your new lives.

Settle into your residence together. Don't answer the phone for awhile to avoid all of the pre-wedding craziness and enjoy the calm after the storm. Enjoy each other and get into your groove in your new life together.

If it's done correctly...There is no "after" the honeymoon! Life happens, let it...take it one day at a time, fight, make up, cook dinner, raise kids, do laundry, vacuum floors and scrub tubs. Kiss each other and say "I love you" every single day, flirt like crazy and continue dating. The details take care of themselves.

KNOCK SOME BOOTS!!!
oh okay I was just teasing...something worthwhile to do would be to sit down together and work out a monthly budget so as to curb any overspending and allow for some sort of savings.
Never too soon to start planning things out for family, travel, future expenses.

Fight like hell for the next few years, and have good make up sex for those few years...add a kid or two...fight like hell some more..only have sex on special occasions...decide it isnt worth the hassle..and move on. OOoopps!!?? Isnt that the way its supposed to go? Ehh, not all marriages are that bad, if you are a newlywed, good luck, if not, well, have fun!

Catalog all the wedding gifts and send out the thank-you notes as soon as possible. BOTH of you do the thank-you notes at the same time.
