my fiance darrell had clicked on a link today that a supposed friend had a picture on it. When he clicked on it, yahoo shut down and when he went to log back on it was the wrong password. The person has retrieved all his personal information and changed everything to where he can not get the new password. They have also changed his whole profile for myspace as they retreived that password as well. How can we find out who has done this and get the new password for that particular yahoo ID.

your only hope is to change the password again via the "lost password" function at the yahoo login page. This is where yahoo asks you a series of "secret questions" where your fiance knows the answers. If Darrell did not fill this out or forgot the answers during sign up.. then he will need to call yahoo direct (yes, actually call them), and yahoo will step with him on confirming that he is actually indeed Darrell and that indeed his identity was stolen. In terms of myspace, I do not know the process but it would be something similar I would assume.
