Has anybody boarded a flight recently with the new requirements?

Are they searching through personal items? I heard that a women got on a plane with facial mosturizer. Is this true. Do they pat you down and search you fo4r liquids?

Thanxabunde Juicy Fruit...I'm leaving at 4:00 and the flight leaves at 7:50...Or boarding begins.

I flew out this Friday AND IT ISN'T NEARLY AS BAD AS IT SEEMS. They didn't take my spray bottle with water and vitamin E oil....I might not want to brag about that....Infact, I was at the LAX and they didn't search my purse.They searched other people's though. Thanks for the advice.

my Godmother just came in from ATL here to CHI. they took her clear nail polish, and her victoria secret lip gloss (ouch that HURT) from her purse, but didn't get her lipgloss from her carry on...do allow yourself extra time (more than usual), and since it's better to be safe than sorry, just put those items in your bag that you check OR leave them at home.....y should they throw away your hard earned money!

At the airport, the TSA has pretty much absolute authority these days. If you get caught trying to sneak something by them, they can and will make your life difficult.

They will go thorugh your personal belongings by hand.

Note: They will be handling your toothbrush with the same gloves they used to handle some other passengers dirty underwear, so it might be a better idea to check everything through.

haha yeah it was terrible waiting in line! get there really early, and my advise just don't bring anything on the flight. just a book and your wallet. I didn't get patted down, but i wasn't wearing and baggy clothes. not sure about the lady w/ mosturizer, but today some lady brought explosives to an airport in west virginia
