i have a dodge ram 1500 with a 5.9L V8. i am tring to locate the IAT sensor, i think i have found it but i am just wandering if anyone could help me out.

IAT stands for air intake temp sensor. It should be on top of the intake manifold. There should be a two prong plug on top of the sensor.

Usually the IAT sensor is close to the air cleaner. It will be a small sensor.

sorry first time i read this i was thinking IAC which is on the back side of the throttle body.
the IAT screws into the intake manifold, has a black connector.
