Hi. It sounds like you were in an extreme situation, and I imagine everybody was petrified. However, what could you have actually done ? I would guess that in the situation if you had tried to carry out a heroic act you would have made no difference, but may have got yourself injured or killed in the process.

I don't suppose you will ever forget such an ordeal, but don't go beating yourself up - nearly all of us are just normal people who would have reacted in exactly the same way. You have nothing to be ashamed of.

As a mate of mine said to me after I lost a loved one, you don't get over it, but you learn to live with it. It's very true.

i doubt you will ever forget but time heals all \\\\\\\ what you didn't do? you survived a horrific terrorist attack on which i would say im proud of you. you would have had shell-shock thats why you froze
