Just take a 100% cotton cloth and wipe it from the middle to the edge never in a circular motion always from the middle to the end. That only gets rid of dust and fingerprints though if you want to get rid of scratches you should buy a skipDr it will clean and get rid of scratches that are on your DVDs, music CDs, photo CDs, data CDs, and of course your video games.

Use a damp cloth...not too soaked or else you can ruin the disc.
Remember to go in a circular motion around the disc. Its best if you not wipe it up and down because it can damage the readings on the disc. I've seen many instructions that say this so hope it works for you.

disk or cartridge? with a disk, simply use a cloth and a bit of elbow grease. with cartridges, well, they never need cleaning. blowing into the slot actually does more harm than good and is purely a psychological thing that makes you feel like you are know what you are doing...

If you are talking about a disc, believe it or not, I have found that the cleaning solution for eyeglasses works great. I'm talking about the spray they usually give you when you buy glasses. Any optical place carries it.

A video game disk? Use rubbing alcohol and a cloth that won't leave any fibers behind when you wipe off the alcohol.

With something soft like a napkin and just your breath on it..don't spit on it though because that will mess it up. Don't put water on it either.
