What Israel must do is to end the occupation of all Arab lands AND release the tens of thousands of kidnapped Palestinians held in jewish dungeons. They must also supply landmine maps to enable their minefields in southern Lebanon to be cleared.
The problem I see is that even if Israel did all this, which I doubt that it would, unless it also included multi billions of dollars in reparations for decades of damages inflicted upon the Palestinians, and even this might not be enough, the hatred against the jews is so overwhelming that whatever they did might not be enough to quell the animosity felt against them by just about every Arab nation. Israel does all the wrong things ALL the time, and everything it does ALWAYS fans the flames of hatred ever higher. You'd think after a while the jews would get it, but they are in such massive denial they simply can't see it. So the violence will continue.

no way, the iranian backed terrorists and Palestinians want to complete destroy Israel once and forever, and I think if Iran gets a nuke, one of the first will be launched toward the Israeli capital, it is just a matter of time. There can be no peace with extremists, and there is no shortage of extremists in the Middle East. Too bad we can't wal it off from the rest of the world and let them have at it, like a steel caged match with no DQ.

No, because Hezbollah will simply find another excuse to attack Israel. The fighting won't stop until one side gets obliterated by the other side.

This is a very good question. In my opinion, the fighting is due to the usurption of the Palestinian's rights to exist as a nation, and further more the burning question of Jerusalem that Israel annexed. Jerusalem should be a neutral place for all the three major religions, and not under the onesided control by the Jews. Christian and Muslims are offended when Israel tries to control his common city. Fighting will spark someother day if these important issues are not addressed by the Israelis and the rest of the world.
