Well first of all, Good luck/congratulations!!!
Awww the memories! I suggest going to the doctor, but what your saying does sound pretty typical. Morning sickness is not a very reliable term, because the nausea can happen at any time of day. I especially relate to the brushing the teeth bit. I know it sounds disgusting, but I couldn't actually brush my teeth thoroughly my entire pregnancy.
Anyhow, get tested again, and try to stop smoking. I quit all three times I was pregnant...and I took the fact that I got sick as a sign! This last time, I stayed smoke free though! Good luck hon

I felt queasy for only 2 weeks... about 7 weeks into my pregnancy and I threw up only once. Morning sickness is some what of a myth. Morning sickness does not mean that you get sick ONLY in the morning... and it's not too common when a pregnant woman does. Most women have to deal with morning sickness all day long... or it could just come during the night. I have heard that about 10-20% of women don't deal with it at all (lucky them). It varies from pregnancy to pregnancy. If you think that you are pregnant... stop smoking. Go to get a blood test... they are more accurate and will tell you in about 2 weeks (after conception) if you are pregnant or not. Good luck!!

I jokingly (but it wasn't funny) called it "morning, noon and night" sickness.
Cigarettes also made me sick - I didn't know I was pregnant, but I was getting so nauseous from them that I decided it was a good time to quit. I found out I was pregnant 5 days later and I never looked back and did not pick the habit up later. If you ARE pregnant, use this opportunity to stop. Your baby's health will likely be far better and you never have to worry about telling your child not to smoke while you cough and hack after taking a drag.
And while it is highly unlikely to get a false positive (there has to be a defect in the stick), there are many instances of false negatives. I would go have a blood test if you really think you're pregnant. The health department can give you one or you can get your GYN to order one from a lab for you.
Good luck.

Take another test. I always had my "morning" sickness in the evenings, between the hours of 5 and 9 to be exact.
And if you think you are pregnent, for the sake of the baby, please stop smoking! Smoking can cause premature bith or birth defects! Do you want to be taking care of a special-need child for the rest of your life?
By the way, the tests react to a hormone in your urine that are only in your system during pregnancy. If you took it too soon, you might get a false negative due to not enought being present in your system yet. But most tests can be done accurately by about two weeks after conception if done properly. See your doctor.

Believe me, it's possible to get morning sickness at night. It can come anytime during the day or night. With both of my pregnancies it has been at night, so just give it a little time. My advice to you, is either wait a couple of more weeks so your hcg levels are higher, or go on ahead and get a test done. Planned Parenthood gives tests for free, but I would suggest going to your physician. Good Luck!

Stop smoking immediately. You're putting your baby at higher risk for low birth weight and SIDS.
Yes, you can have morning sickness all day long and you will have aversions even to foods you have always loved, but that usually only lasts through about the first 14 weeks.

Oh sweetie, I had morning sickness for a couple of weeks almost all day long. I think I threw up a hundred times a day during that time period. My doctor said that might be one of the reasons I have toxemia.
However youngster...stop the cigarettes. For 2 reasons. Your hurting the baby and yourself. Plus it is proven cigarettes during pregnancy will cause nausea and vomiting.

morning sickness can happen anytime of the day. It is generally the worst in the AM (I think since you have no food in your system....)
First, you should buy a really pregnancy test and check for sure. Then you should see your Dr. and get a pregnancy book. It provides answers for these types of concerns!

pregnant people can be sick at any hour of the day. I had a friend that was sick throughout most of her pregnancy, morning, noon, night--it didn't matter. Take a pregnancy test in the morning when you first wake up. Your test will be more accurate.
