Depends on what offense it is and the state you live in.
Averages are 30 days and up to five years. Also depends on the severity of your crime.

If it is a misdemeanor, the most you will get is 1 year. If this is your first offense you will probably get probation and an anger management class.

i live in ohio and my ex husband got 5 years probation after his felony DV was dropped to a misdemeanor
