why is that the atlantic coast beaches are rarely talked about for their beauty,but the west coast beaches are....is the east beaches really that ugly,stanky and polluted......just curious

and everybody seems secretive about the east coast beaches....whats really wrong with them..to cold? to polluted.? ugly?

The west coast beaches are unspoiled when compared with the east coast. Have you been to the Jersey shore? Stinky.

East coast beaches may not be as good as those in the west coast.
But the famous Miami Beach in on Atlantic side

The East coast has beautiful beaches. Do you ever hear about Florida or Georgia and how beautiful they are? I guess they are beautiful all the way up the coast.
Maybe because of hurricanes they always show the worst scenes of beaches on the news.

I've found that the Florida Gulf Coast beaches are best.

The east coast of Florida is pretty, but the gulf coast is much better.

Only if you are a West Coast elitist. Personally, my favorite place in the US is Nags Head, NC, Hilton Head, etc. I do not really care for the West Coast, for no concrete reason. Ce-st la vie!

if you mean the beaches in dayotna beach they arecold and smell like sewage ugh! disgusting

it is because it is located in the low-pressure belts in the middle lattitudes,it happens to be exactly located over the (roaring sixties) lattitudes where it is notorious for typhoons ,hurricanes and constant wind storms
