As long as I could cook him real good to kill the AIDS, dinner would be served. However, many AIDS patients look frail, so I'd probably finish him the first day and still end up starving.

If I was found early, I'd keep some of his skin for a wallet.

Well, I am sorry to say but the only places where you could be lost miles and miles away from civilization..is in the wilderness! and there is always something to eat (insects, wild animals etc) even in the desert. On top of that I would not eat my friend AIDS or not.... If I was that starving, I would use his corpse to attract wild animals which I could then kill and eat......Rather than resorting to cannibalism. That at least is what I would do...because there is ALWAYS thousands of insects and other living creatures in almost every acre of the earths surface (including the water). Not to mention the fact that if you ate someone infected with AIDS you might contract the disease and even if rescued, end up dying anyway.....

people who would have answered no DID ! ( do you think that they grew up as cannibals or do you think the urge to survive is strong , that is the real answer here all else is wishful thinking ) oh and to address aids it was considered a MORTAL SIN to these people so do you really think aids would make a difference after all it takes time to kill

No. You can go a long time, about 2-3 weeks average with no food, but water is the problem, you must have water nearly every day.

Yes, the aids virus does not survive on dead meat , it dies also, just build a fire and grill up some steaks.

Of course most people would say no. But then most of us have never been in this situation. The humans desire for survival is amazing. I too would like to say no, but in reality, I probably would.
