ok, my son will be 4 next month and is still not potty trained all the way. i know some is better than none yes lol. well i have all his underwear (i refuse to go back to pull-ups so he can treat them like a diaper when he can pee in the toilet all day long) that are poopy. i got it out in the toilet and now i don't know what to do with them. how do i get the stains out? my kids are extremely sensitive to bleach, dyes, and perfumes. i don't have any quarters to go do laundry until saturday and he needs fresh underwear tomorrow. i scrubbed them will All free and Clear detergent and have them soaking in the sink in baby detergent. Any other ideas if these stains don't come out? saturday or sunday i can rewash them in a washer.

Sometimes those kind of stains don't even come out in the washing machine. As long as they are clean and do not stink, I would just go with it. A lot of kids at that age have stains.

Rinse them out real good and hang them out in the sun with the stained side out so the sun can bleach the stain for you. How do you think people in the old days got stains out before bleach and all the things we have now? The sun, the good old sun can do a lot, give it a try, you have nothing to lose.

My great grandmother was a poor Italian Immigrant with 8 kids, and the oldest two bringing home infant grand kids.
She used to put white vinegar in water and boil away until everything was soft and clean. Boiling kills all the germs.
After that the poor dear used to washboard scrub them with LYE soap, rinse them in clean water and hang them to air dry!
That is why I am NOT a stay at home mom! hehehe!

Any way, try the vinegar and water boiling thing. At least no germs even if the pants are still stained

soak them in hot water with liquid dish soap, that should help with the stain but even if it doesn't take all the stain out at least they will be clean enough ,kids always have stains so don't worry too much if they still have a little stain left. since they are sensitive to soaps be sure to rinse very good

As a mother of 6..................I was at my wits ends trying to get all the poo stains out...... i have found that if you rinse the underwear in warm water...then spray with hairspray...and rub it together....Most of the stains will come out.....sound crazy but actually works.....the quicker you can get to the stain the better....then just wash them like you normally would..........good luck

you at the instant are not likely to get all poop stains out. i comprehend, i exploit textile diapers. I positioned them in the washing device on a rinse only cycle on chilly, then the main well-liked longest cycle with detergent (Dreft is high-quality, i exploit time-honored stuff reason its extra low-priced). tell your son that he's purely going to would desire to discover ways to apply the potty each and every of the time, and till then he will would desire to positioned on stained below-ware. Set something up like a month of poop unfastened and he can get a sparkling set or something. even have him help freshen up the mess. At 4 he's extra advantageous than able to rinsing out his below-ware in a bucket of water.

With my son, when he started wearing real underware, it was a big, big deal. So when he messed up a pair of Bob the Builder underware, I thrrew them away and put him in a diaper. He threw a fit and that was the end of the messes, he was 2. Good luck with potty training...

You have to thoroughly clean them because the fact is that crap contains strains of e.coli and can make your child very ill. Bleach is suppose to kill everything and if you can't use bleach, the only real solution would be to go back to pull-ups. Otherwise, keep buying new underware, but it gets expensive.

You need to soak them in an enzyme cleaner such as Biz.
