My lastname is TETATZIN, and for many years I been having different answers. Now I would like to know the real meaning, or something similar to what I been told. So that I would be more convence about those answers. I know for a fact that my lastname is Aztec and one of the meanings is "FATHER'" and that becomes from one of the most strongest Aztec families. As well as a very strong fighter. One of the strongest from the Aztecs, very respectfull.

I thought the -tzin meant royalty or accolades.
I don't think you want the meaning of your name--it seems to mean royal father or honored father. I think you want the HISTORY of it which is entirely different.
