Take a shovel full of one ant hill, put it on the other hill, and vice versa. They'll kill each other off.

I use the ant traps made by Raid that have two different types of bait in them. I was having a very bad problem with them, but I gradually began seeing fewer and fewer ants, and now, a month later, I don't see any.
There are also some stakes that you can buy to put outside of your house that will kill the guys before they even get in.
Good luck to you, I know ants are a pain.

Try spraying white vinegar around the walls and on the counters after you clean. That will keep most if not all ants away. I used to have a terrible problem with ants until I started doing that.

Step 1: Clean up whatever your have laying around that they are eating and keep it cleaned-up
Step 2: Find where they are coming in from the outside and plug-up the hole
Step 3: Application of Amdro as directed on the container

You'll never get rid of them for good, but keep your house clean and it will go a long way.

Try Terro Ant Poison. It's found in most hardware stores. Ants carry the poison back to the colony & they all die in their house, not yours.

Good luck.

Look around your foundation to see if there are any cracks or other specific places the ants are getting in through. Once you find it/them, spray the area thoroughly.
