I never believed in him, and I have even less faith in him now. In fact if you could measure faith in a President from a scale of 1 to 10, that scale wouldn’t apply because the amount of faith I have in him would be in the negative numbers. He had a mandate by the people to defend this country against terrorist threats, and instead he squanders our good will by engaging Iraq in a war when they were not involved in the 9/11 terrorist plot. He praises democracy and peppers his speech with lengthy expositions applauding freedom and yet he consorts with Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, two nations that are the exact antithesis of democracy and freedom. Bush harps on about the value of education and leaving no child behind, yet his programs have in fact left many children behind. He parrots Christian rhetoric, but his belligerent reactionary foreign policy and a fiscal policy that callously disregards the poor, makes a mockery of the faith he professes to follow.
He is a massive contradiction, not only with regards to his rise power, but with regards to how is actions and rhetoric differ so greatly. With that said how could any sensible person have faith in him?

Do I believe that he has the mental capacity of my stupid next door neighbor? Yes. Lemme tell you, I don't know why everyone seems to love this old man. He is not a great* president...his beliefs he pushes on the American public at large. And he constantly in peens on important scientific study. I.e. Stem cells. And please don't tell me,
"AHhh noo your killing a baby bOoo" The fetus was already dead...what your saying is that you against abortion...and that's a different subject. Which bush believes in..yes he believes that all the raped and abused women..should be forced to have their baby cause blah blah blah, science and politics don't mix. They never did and never will. But Bush constantly and repeatedly brings his personal beliefs into the situation and does whatever the f*u*c*k he wants. Regardless of majority outcry. Yes there are those that follow him, Republican Conservative, pro-lifers. ....who hate the gays.
So I guess I never believed in him, at best he's a mediocre president, a title which never really won in the first place. And to lead the greatest nation in the world, that just doesn't cut it.
And by the way just because he's a war time president doesn't make him great, they were many war time presidents not all of them great. Hes our president, THAT'S HIS JOB. You don't get props for doing your job...unless your superman. You get them from going above and beyond.
We haven't had a great* president since Reagan.

I believe he exists, unlike the Tooth Fairy or Santa Claus. Given the choice, however, I'd prefer either of the latter two as President of the United States.

I never did believe in him. He was a failed businessman, alcoholic, drug-using, draft-dodging, male cheerleader fratboy, who happened to have been born into a well-connected family that could always bail him out. And then they propped him up for politics.
And the rest is a sad, disastrous history.

Let's see:
Strong economy
Low interest rates
Low unemployment
No terrorist attacks since 9/11
Fighting terrorism
Yeah I think I believe in him and he has done well irrespective of what others would say.
