Yes, this is the beauty of big chrome bumpers that I miss so much on cars. Nowadays you have those crappy foam plastic zones that don't even extend from the car. Ridiculous.
Big chrome bumpers are easy to straighten and fix. Sometimes you can do it on the car. Tie an end to a a fixed object and use the car's power to pull the bumper back. For dents, remove the bumper and pound it out from the inside with body work anvils and hammers.

If the bumper is actually chrome plated instead of polished metal, it is likely that the dent has already caused the plating to pull away from the metal. When you pound the metal from the back to pop the dent out, the chrome will fall off. If it is polished metal, it is more likely that you can work the dent out and then sand and re-polish.

this question gets into the area of desiring a professional. I fairly badly broken a buddy's chrome bumper on his liked 1965 GTO, and to have it straightened and re-chromed replaced into approximately $3 hundred 9 years in the past. Truck bumpers are plenty heavier so it may desire to be authentic. of course, if the bumper is replaced the previous one is yours in case you declare it. in case you pay for the fix you're entitled to the previous areas decrease back, basically as with the different fix. it extremely is in all threat nicely worth a pair of million/2 the recent fee on ebay.
