Hey guys I have been think if a part of the hot exhaust gases is directed toward the tyres at the rear and front of an F1 car, can the problem of warming up of tyres and tyres losing temperature be solved.

Yes, I know that if we give the whole of the exhaust the tyres will melt but I said 'a part of the exhaust gas'. Is this idea already implemented?

great answers by xtowgrunt and R G. Also, trying to direct the exhaust would require significant modifications to the aero...probably unproductive. Also, tyre temperature maintenance is already complicated enough...having to take another factor into account would be a nightmare.
Nice try though...keep coming up with more ideas and maybe they'll hire you?!

No - there is no consistency in the surface that the exhaust would heat up. Tyres need to be heated when they are stationary - not while running - the running temperatures are considered when they develop the Tyre. So the best way is to get it covered with heaters as they do now.

Not only it needs a lot of modifications to the car, it is dangerous too. The exhaust gas could be so hot that the tyres could go up in flames.

i dont think it will be possible given the restrictions FIA gives on the car building. Moreover it will bring about more complications to an already complicated sport.
However, if FIA will allow such a rule, I'm sure the teams will have come up with a viable way to use the technology

Exhaust restriction would be prohibative, and couldn't be directed to the front so you would have uneven traction fron to rear.

the easiest way would be a big-a*se microwave and put them on the cars just before race time!!!!!!!!!
