Who thinks this movie is going to do to snakes what Jaws did to sharks?

Snakes are not monsters who go around biting people for sport. If they were to really be loose on a plane, they would stay somewhere dark away from humans. They would only bite when provoked, and even still, to them, it would be unwise to bit an animal as big as a human because humans can easy retaliate and crush them.

Maybe not crush them, but I mean like when a dog bites you or mosquito, we tend to smack them. A hard enough slap would kill a snake.

Precisely, snakes would be too afraid of humans, and sometimes vice versa (not everyone is afraid of snake, EG. Me) =)

Oh no, I don't think this movie will be as popular as Jaws. What I mean is that Jaws made many many MANY people terrified of sharks and view them as blood thirsty monsters.

I don't think this movie will do to snakes what Jaws did to sharks. However I think it will do to Samuel L. Jackson's career what a torpedo does to the hull of a ship.

Like in most movies, things usually get misconstrued and believed as true sometimes. Like how a movie based off of a book is never exactly like the book, some little things get changed. Besides, I saw on the news that a similar situation could almost never happen. If a snake got out on a plane, they would most likely go after smaller prey first, and do what you already stated.

I saw a python in the trailer with teeth as long as a rattlesnakes. Was almost laughable since they are constrictors and crush their prey to death.

They'll probably make the snakes as vicious as possible. I agree with you, snakes don't go around biting people. But I'm sure the people would be too terrified to crush them.

BUT STILL THIS MOVIE IS GONNA SUCK AND IT WON'T EVEN MATTER.

It looks like a REALLY stupid movie and I can't believe that Samuel Jackson would do it.

I don't think that will happen. I'd be more scared of airline travel.
