Me and my best friend are taking a road trip to Utah to visit some friends and to just have fun. We are planning on staying there August 31st through September 4th. We want to stay at a campground near Provo or Salt Lake for a couple days because we don't want to stay at her Aunt's house and my Aunt's house for more than 1 day each. We thought it would be fun to stay at a campsite and camp for a couple days. But we both don't want to spend a lot of money and would really like to find a cheap but nice campground to stay at overnight.

Try Granite Flats up American Fork Canyon (closer to Provo). Or Tanner's Flat up Little Cottonwood Canyon. There is also Cecret Lake campground up Little Cottonwood. They wouldn't be too expensive (less than 10 dollars), but I'm not sure. American Fork Canyon has an entrance fee of about 3 dollars a day, but I'm not sure about the others. Sorry I'm not 100% sure, but I hope it helps.
