I don't take an anti-depressant, but perhaps you should ask about those on stress-related medication, since swallowing some of the nonsense people think up (like cussing out teachers, lying outright, refusing to believe their angels could have done anything wrong) makes my stomach churn with bile.

Happy days are here again!

Why do you want to know? Would you rather that they not be on the medication?

I'm a substitute teacher. But when I get to teach, I end up feeling psyched. I like teaching, even when the kids try to act up. I tell them I don't care, I dont' take it personal. I'll get paid either way. If they act up or don't study or do the work, they're just wasting their time, the taxpayers' money, and dishonoring their families. I don't have to be mean or threaten them.

My question to you: how many students are on some sort of drug, even if it's nicotine or alchohol? How many students' parents are on drugs or alcohol, and are not encouraging their kids to do something positive with their lives? How many kids don't want to listen, don't want to think that maybe it would help them to learn SOMETHING while at school, so they DON'T have to scrape and beg to get money just to come back and get their GED? Let alone college.

Next question.

If you are a teacher: My hats off to you!!!!!!! I work in a group home with kids that have been pulled out of their homes by CPS and let me tell you; nothing can ever prepare you in life for what these kids do to the adults working around them! I really don't think it is any better for the teachers either! May God bless anyone who is willing to teach children these days. Its a tough job!!!!

i think that number maybe high because it is sooooo hard to teach these days...no one backs the teacher up anymore...they have to deal with disrespectful students, that most of the parents believe their kids, and make it rough on the teacher..so i am sure they take meds, and drink as well

They are on them because of the volume of psychotic students that are in school these days. A bunch of sickies.
