i got some salad dressing on one of my favourite tops. i have scrubed and washed it twice with spray& wash and tide and it still won't come out. I'm interested in any home made solutions or a product i can buy.

Dawn dish detergent or Zout, if you have already dried it in the dryer try Zout but it may be too late. Zout is great, used it on clothes when I worked in a salon. Next time rub some Dawn on it or Shout wipes right away.

Oil can usually be removed with dishwashing liquid. Another solution I have used in the past is Zout liquid - it has even gotten permanent marker out of my clothes, and you can also try Oxi-Clean or the Tide to Go pen - both work pretty well.

I use regular dishwashing liquid for any oily stain, just rub it in really good and let it set about 30 minutes then wash as usual . I have found that dishwashing liquid works well on most stains better than spray and wash or shout. I have used this for years, I don't know if all dishwashing liquids work the same but I use palmolive

Get some "goof off" at the hardware store. Put on the stain and rub it in and let it sit for twenty minutes or so. Spray with "spray and wash" and launder. Don't put it in the dryer but let it line dry. Inspect and re-treat and launder again if necessary. Use the product in well ventilated area.

I have heard of taking 8-10 aspirin and putting them in a glass of water and soaking the stain for 30 minutes. Give it a try it should work

use waterless hand cleaner (from the dollar stores) like mechanics use. u just rub a little on the stain (it looks greasy when you do, but thats ok). then just wash as usual. it get out all kinds of oil and grease out of everything with it. you will be surprised.
